Cabinet boxes
Every box is made to your measurements in our Scarborough shop, not pulled from a warehouse shelf. Widths and heights follow your walls. If you want a sturdier build, birch plywood cabinet boxes are an upgrade at $50 per linear foot. Ask which box construction your quote covers.
Doors and finish
Choose thermofoil or painted doors, available in many colours. Bring a colour sample, a photo or a door style you like, and we will price it with your layout. The two finishes behave differently over time, so read the comparison below before you decide.
Quartz countertop
A quartz countertop is part of the published per-foot rate, so a standard job does not need a separate countertop supplier. Tell us the look you want when we measure, and we will go through your options when we quote.
Sink
A sink is included in the published rate. Your plumber handles the water and drain connections, because plumbing is not part of our scope. Tell us early if you have a specific sink in mind so the countertop and base cabinet are planned around it.
Handles and hardware
Handles are included in the rate. Pick the style when you confirm your order, and our team fits them during installation. If you want specialty hardware, tell us at the quote stage so we can price it with the rest of the kitchen.
Installation
Our own team installs what we build, and installation is part of the per-foot rate. Electrical, plumbing, demolition and construction are not included, so your own trades handle those before and after our install day.
Thermofoil or painted: which suits your kitchen

- A smooth, even surface with a clean, modern face.
- Heat and wear
- Holds up well in daily use. Sustained heat and steam are its weak spot, so leave clearance near the oven and dishwasher.
- Repairs
- If the film is damaged or lifts, the usual fix is to replace the door or panel, not to touch it up.
- Care
- Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Skip abrasive pads and strong solvents.
Best for: Busy kitchens where budget and easy wipe-downs matter most.
Painted $500 per linear foot, installed
- Looks
- A classic painted look with depth of colour.
- Heat and wear
- Copes with heat better than thermofoil, but edges and corners can chip over the years.
- Repairs
- Chips and scuffs can usually be touched up with matching paint.
- Care
- Wipe with a soft cloth and a mild cleaner. Wipe spills up quickly.
Best for: Kitchens where you want a painted look and do not mind the odd touch-up.

Working with your other trades
We build and install the cabinets, the quartz countertop, the sink and the handles. Electrical, plumbing, demolition and construction are not part of our work or our rates. Your own trades handle those.
- Your demolition crew clears the old kitchen before we install.
- Your electrician and plumber finish their rough-in work to the layout we sketch, then return for final connections.
