Kitchen cabinets for Markham homes
Markham’s kitchens follow the city’s timeline, from village streets to condo towers.
Start with the old centres. Unionville and Markham Village have heritage streets with homes of many ages and styles. Rooms can be smaller than a modern kitchen expects, with chimney walls, trim and door casings you may want to keep. A cabinet run built to the actual wall lets you work with those features. Painted doors are one option we build for a traditional look.
Next come the subdivisions. Greensborough, Wismer, Berczy Village, Cornell, Box Grove, Markville and Milliken Mills grew out in stages, with detached homes, semis and townhomes. Many kitchens there started with builder supplied cabinets. Replacing them with a made to order set can keep the same footprint but change the storage, doors and countertop. Townhome kitchens are narrow, so a measured pantry or a reworked wall run can recover useful space. If plumbing or gas lines need to move, your trades handle that.
Then the larger homes. Angus Glen and Cathedraltown include big floor plans where the kitchen opens to a family room, so the cabinets are part of the whole room. Islands, tall pantries and ceiling height wall units suit that scale. If your plan has a pantry alcove, we build tall units to its exact depth and width. We sketch the layout and price it before you commit.

A Markham project, from first visit to install
You start with a message or a call. We come to your Markham home for a free measurement and look at the walls, windows, appliance sizes and anything you want to keep.
After the visit you get a sketch and a price at our published rates. There is no online checkout and no pressure. You choose whether to order.
Once the order is confirmed, we cut and assemble your cabinets at our Scarborough shop. This typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the project. Use that time to book your electrician, plumber and any demolition crew.
On install day, our own team fits everything. To handle doors and finishes before you decide, visit the factory showroom at 50 Thornmount Dr, Unit 24, Scarborough, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday by appointment. What we can build for a Markham home
Every house in Markham asks for something slightly different, so here is what we build, not what we think you should buy. Base, wall and pantry cabinets come in the sizes your room needs. Islands are built where the floor plan has space. Built in wall units can turn a family room wall into storage, and closets and wardrobes can match the finish. Vanities suit ensuites and powder rooms. For countertops, we supply quartz. Doors come in thermofoil or painted. Can you work in an older Unionville or Markham Village home?
Yes. Older rooms often have uneven walls and trim you want to keep. We measure what is actually there and build each cabinet to fit, so there is less guesswork on install day. Tell us at the visit which features you want to save.
Can I replace builder cabinets in a Cornell or Wismer townhome without moving anything?
Yes, when the layout stays put. We measure and build a new set for the same footprint, with quartz countertop, handles and sink included in the published rate. If plumbing, gas or electrical must move, your own trades do that work.
Can you build a vanity to match my kitchen?
Yes. We build bathroom vanities and washroom cabinets to your measurements, so an ensuite or powder room can share a finish with the kitchen. Ask for the vanity to be added when we sketch the kitchen layout.
Can I choose birch plywood cabinet boxes?
Yes. Birch plywood cabinet boxes are an upgrade that adds $50 per linear foot, as of October 2026. Tell us at the measurement if you want them and we will include them in your quote.
